Hey there!
Just an FYI, but did you know that Bobba has a great friends list feature? You can find it under "Friends" from the main menu, and it will display all the users you've added as friends in Bobba not to mention letting you know when the last time your friends were online.
Adding friends is easy, and many users find it advantageous to add anyone they talk to in Bobba on a regular basis. That way you know when your friends are around and are available to hang out or go exploring! To add a friend, just highlight them and select "Add friend". It's as easy as that! The selected user show up in your friends list from now on.
With your new friend on the list, you can see info about them, including their latest fashionable look. You can also see what spaces they have created, and conveniently send them messages even when they are offline. Friends are great to have, and with a sizable friends list, you can host the biggest, most awesome parties in Bobba! Just be sure to invite me. ;)
Until next time, see you in Bobba!

Hey there!
I'd like to take the time just to mention in brief detail some of what is expected in terms of behavior for users of Bobba. As you know, Bobba is a mature social space, and not for anyone under the age of 16. While most topics of conversation that take place in a space might be considered fairly tame, this does mean that more mature topics of conversation might arise from time to time.
Another important thing to remember when socializing in Bobba is to be sure to treat every user with respect. One of our core rules is "Don't harm others." This includes any kind of harrassment, threats, stalking, griefing and that kind of thing. Spamming is also considered inappropriate and generally frowned upon.
What do you do if you encounter someone violating the rules? Well, in time, we'll have a function to allow for easy reporting of rules violations through a context menu. In the interim, if you feel you are being harrassed, make use the "Ignore" feature. If the person persists, or is harassing a whole room and won't stop, send a message to me (My avatar name is GreyPawn), and I'll do my best to attend to the situation.
Till next time, have fun!

Hey there!
My name is Joe Pishgar, but my friends in Bobba call me GreyPawn. It is a pleasure for me to serve you as Community Manager for Bobba, and it's my role to see to it that our community is well taken care of and continues to grow. Just in the short time Bobba has been available in beta, we have already surpassed the 13k mark for users and we're expecting to see a lot more growth in the near future as the service becomes available on even more mobile phones. By adding more users, the virtual world of Bobba is enriched with more content and things to do.
When a virtual world gets enough users, those users start getting creative in ways the dev team never quite imagined. Some users might stack colored blocks in such a way as to make a giant face of a cartoon character. Another user might popularize a sequence of moves or gestures and call it a dance that catches on. In one virtual world I know, players actually managed to create a piano out of a pile of black cloth and two chessboards! These cool inventions and unexpected additions enrich the experience in wonderful ways. There really is no upper limit on the imaginative "MacGuyvering" users can get up to with a little bit of creativity and a whole lot of time.
As we continue to grow, we're going to see a lot more of this in how users decorate their rooms and interact with each other. We want to encourage this by highlighting these unique additions to our world, so we'll be showcasing them to you as they pop up. On that note, if you happen to spot something you think is too cool to miss, shoot me a note in Bobba on my avatar "GreyPawn". Feel free to add me as a friend, too! We do love hearing from you, and we're always keen on checking out anything new and interesting our users have added to the Bobbasphere.
Till next time!

We recently started including more social networking aspects to Bobba by adding a friend list. To make your friend list more useful, we are soon launching messaging functionalities.

With messaging, you get your own mailbox in Bobba. You can exchange messages with other users, regardless of them being online or offline. If the other user is online, she'll get an instant notification when a new message is received. Otherwise she will be able to read the message when she logs in the next time.
You can send messages to any user, but it will be easiest to choose the recipients from your friend list. If you want to message to a user who is not on your friend list, you have to do it through the People search (Main menu -> Friend list -> People search).
You will also have the option to have Bobba messages sent to your email inbox, as soon as we have worked out the details.
