We recently started including more social networking aspects to Bobba by adding a friend list. To make your friend list more useful, we are soon launching messaging functionalities.
With messaging, you get your own mailbox in Bobba. You can exchange messages with other users, regardless of them being online or offline. If the other user is online, she'll get an instant notification when a new message is received. Otherwise she will be able to read the message when she logs in the next time.
You can send messages to any user, but it will be easiest to choose the recipients from your friend list. If you want to message to a user who is not on your friend list, you have to do it through the People search (Main menu -> Friend list -> People search).
You will also have the option to have Bobba messages sent to your email inbox, as soon as we have worked out the details.
