In the upcoming iPhone version you'll be able to have your own place. At first these places will be accessible only with an invitation. You'll be able to invite people from the same place you're currently in and online friends from your friends list.
Here's how it works in practice:
- Boy meets a girl and wants to chat in a more comfortable setting.
- Boy invites girl to his own place via girl's Avatar Info view. Multiple users can be invited at once.
- Both end up in the same place.
Invitations can be accepted or rejected and they expire automatically after 30seconds.
