Bobba Bar now supports push notifications for new messages.
A push notification will let you know when you receive a new message from your friends should you be offline at that time. From there on it just takes a tap to get back online and continue the conversation with them.
It's easy to use push notifications:
- When you launch updated Bobba Bar for the first time you can choose if you want to receive push notifications for new messages.
- By default a new message triggers an alert pop up, updates the number of unread messages in the Bobba Bar icon badge and plays a sound effect if the iPhone has sounds turned on.
- Clicking "Reply" in a notification pop up starts Bobba Bar and goes directly into the message view. From there you can write a reply to the message. Clicking "Close" simply closes the pop up.
- Push notifications for Bobba Bar can be turned off from iPhone’s Settings - Notifications - Bobba Bar. Turning off sounds, alerts and badges disables notifications. Also, if you log out (via Me tab) you won't receive push notifications anymore.
To update, open App Store in your iPhone/iPod touch and go to Updates tab.
See you in Bobba Bar!
